Eric Hauser has been appointed DroneDeploy’s VP of engineering, responsible for focusing the engineering team to address customer needs. Hauser previously was Salesforce’s IoT Cloud VP of engineering.

DroneDeploy has appointed Scott Lumish as VP of business development. Lumish previously held business development and OEM sales responsibilities at Intacct, NetSuite and Cobalt Networks.

Ashley Bunce has been appointed executive director of Women in Defense. She recently served as the company’s associate director and previously served the president as special assistant to the deputy assistant secretary of Defense, Community and Public Outreach.

FlightSafety International has promoted Edward Koharik to general manager of visual systems. Koharik joined FlightSafety in 2015 and previously served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering.

Michael C. Francis joined 1st Source Aircraft Division as VP and relationship sales officer. Francis has 12 years of experience in aircraft market analysis, aircraft sales, fleet management and aircraft financing. He previously was responsible for loan origination and relationship management for the eastern U.S. Francis is a commercial-rated pilot with a bachelor’s degree in aviation management and an MBA.

Katharine Morgan has been appointed president of ASTM International. She has been at the company for 33 years, having served as VP for the past two years.

Professional Aircraft Accessories had added two new sales positions. Jody Bullock has been appointed director of strategy and sales performance, and Fernando Ramos is the new regional sales director for Latin America. Bullock served as consultant to Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Solutions. Ramos previously served as customer service manager for Aero Precision Repair and Overhaul in Florida.

Helicopter Assn. International has appointed Cade Clark as VP of government affairs, responsible for researching and tracking all legislative development in the industry. He will also serve as an advocate for HAI members to U.S. congressional staff. Clark was previously VP of government affairs at an air conditioning, heating and refrigeration company.

Metro Aviation has tapped Holly Weber as director of customer revenue cycle support. She was VP of business development and transformation at Syncordia Technologies and Healthcare Solutions.

Vincent D’Rozario has joined CHC Group as regional director for Asia Pacific. He hails from Jacobs Engineering, where he served as VP of Asia since 2013. He holds an electrical engineering degree from the University of Victoria.

Helicopter Assn. International has hired Steve Sparks as director of safety. Prior to joining the organization, Sparks was an aviation safety inspector for the FAA with the General Aviation and Commercial Division in Michigan. He will be responsible for managing HAI’s existing aviation safety programs.

Matt Tarczynski joined Summit Aviation as regional sales representative. He will be responsible for sales of custom intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms for law enforcement and government organizations. He previously spent 26 years in the aviation division of the Pennsylvania State Police, most recently as lieutenant commander for special services.

Dart Aerospace has promoted Alain Madore to president and CEO. Madore was previously VP of commercial operations and aftermarket services for four years. R&WI
