Asian Sky Group has appointed Alan Hung as director of business development, responsible for Greater China and Asia Pacific. Hung previously held the same position at Jet Support Services Inc.

Erickson Inc. has tapped Stephen Wideman as VP and CFO and Michael Hausinger as corporate controller. Wideman was most recently VP of finance and corporate treasurer of FLIR Systems. Hausinger has background in finance with a variety of manufacturing businesses. Erickson also appointed Kevin Cochie as VP and general manager of defense and national security, Hayden Olson as VP of safety and human capital and Chris Schuldt as chief of staff and senior director of DNS special programs.

Brian McNelly has been promoted to assistant manager of FlightSafety International’s maintenance learning center in Wichita, Kansas. McNelly joined the company in 2006 as an instructor and is a 22-year U.S. Air Force veteran.

SterlingRisk Insurance has named Michael O’Donnell president of its aviation practice group. O’Donnell joined the company in 2011, most recently serving as EVP of the aviation practice group. As the company expands its aviation line, O’Donnell will lead all aspects of its operation and development.

Helicopter Association International has appointed Anuja Miner as director of membership, responsible for directing the membership recruitment and retention operations of HAI.

Bill Phelps will lead Lockheed Martin’s media relations, marketing communications, social media and visual communications as VP of external communications. Phelps joined the company in 2016 as director of worldwide media relations. The company also appointed to its board of directors Jeh Johnson and James Taiclet. Johnson is a partner at an international law firm and was U.S. secretary of homeland security. Taiclet heads a telecommunications real estate business and previously served as president of Honeywell Aerospace Services.

Safran Helicopter Engines has appointed Olivier Le Merrer as EVP of support and services. He joined Safran in 1982 in its aircraft engines unit. Since January 2017, he had served as EVP of engineering of Safran Electronics & Defense. Bruno Bellanger has been appointed EVP of programs. Bellanger joined Safran in 2004 from Airbus where he was an air-ground communications systems engineer. Francois-Xavier Foubert also has been appointed EVP of operations. He joined Safran in 2003 from Alcatel where he worked with the production and development of special batteries. And Mathieu Albert was promoted to EVP of quality and process excellence. He began his career at Safran’s aircraft engines unit in manufacturing.

Cecile Vion-Lanctuit was named Marenco-turned-Kopter’s head of communications and marketing in November. She oversees all internal and external communications for the company. Previously, she was Bombardier Transportation’s VP of communications and also spent 15 years at Airbus, including 8 years at Airbus Helicopters as VP of corporate communications and head of international media relations.

Asian Sky Group appointed Nicole Wang as its sales manager to lead the group’s team in China. She joins the company from Dassault Falcon where she served as an assistant intern to the SVP.

Genesys Aerosystems has appointed Barry LeBlanc as new regional sales manager, Nick Bogner as director of business development and Chris Suldo as HeliSAS sales specialist. LeBlanc came from Sandia Aerospace and will focus on the Northwest and Midwest U.S. and Western Canada. Bogner was previously VP of engineering at Bendix/King. Suldo holds a private pilot’s license for rotorcraft and worked in marketing and sales for Bell Helicopter and Airbus Helicopters Inc.
