Claudio Agostini is an aerospace and defense consultant and has been engaged with helicopter market competitive intelligence for more than 20 years. He has been writing for R&WI about the Latin American market since 1999. He has also been engaged with local helicopter events and seminars since 2002 and regularly provides support to the Brazilian Assn. of Helicopter Pilots (ABRAPHE) in São Paulo, where he is based. Although not a licensed pilot, he’s had the opportunity to fly in a wide range of helicopters, including the Robinson Helicopter R22 and the Mil Mi-26, around the world.
