Chris Baur is the president and CEO of Hughes Aerospace Corp., a third-party air navigation services provider. He has led instrumental projects in the global performance-based navigation movement. With 40 years of experience in aviation, he is an airline captain, technical pilot, instructor and flight test pilot. He holds type ratings in airlines, business and rotary-wing aircraft. He is also a retired military aviator from the U.S. Army, Coast Guard and Air Force in both helicopters and fixed- wing aircraft.
